Thank you to everyone who supported building a float representing Grace Lutheran Church in the 2019 Tripoli Days Parade. The theme of the Grace float was “Jesus Floats Our Boat.” A special thank you goes to Donna Hereid for her willingness and commitment to leading the team who came up with the ideas and helped build the float, including Cami Franzen, Olivia Miller, Haileigh Halversen, Caeden Funk, Lauren Funk, Jase Hereid, and Peyton Franzen. Thanks also to all who donated candy to toss to spectators at the parade!

Our prayer quilt is for Judy Anderson.  The quilt is in the narthex for anyone who would like to say a prayer for Judy as you tie the knot on her quilt. After all the knots are tied we will give the quilt to Judy.

Christian Sympathy is expressed to the family and friends of Gertrude Dettmering, mother of Denise (David) Schavey, Donell (Marvin) Dittmer, and Daniel (Barb) Dettmering. Funeral services were held at Grace with burial at St. John’s, Crane Creek. May the God who reigns over life and death be with you.

Congratulations to Aaron Goodenbour and Angel Kelly on their marriage Saturday at Grace.  May God bless husband and wife as they began their wedded life together. There are flowers from the service.
