Our prayer quilt is for Betty Johansen.  The quilt is in the narthex for anyone who would like to say a prayer for Betty as you tie the knot on her quilt. After all the knots are tied we will give the quilt to Betty.

Retirement Reception & Brunch for Pastor Duffus

 Grace Lutheran Church will be having a retirement reception for Pastor Scott today after Sunday worship in the fellowship hall. We welcome and encourage you to come for brunch, (egg casserole, muffins, cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice, and fresh fruit) and to wish Pastor a happy and blessed retirement.

Scott and Kathy have added so much to Grace’s ministry, and we thank them both for sharing their talents and skills with us during the past years!

The Quilting ladies will be tying quilts tomorrow in the Fellowship hall.  They will start around 9:00 am. Treats are furnished. Come when you can and leave when you must. Some nice fellowship also!

Congratulations to Kristina Everding and Tucker Brady on their marriage yesterday in Des Moines. May God bless wife and husband as they began their wedded life together.

Baptized last Sunday was Quinntyn Anthony Krueger, son of Josh Krueger and Amy Krueger. Quinntyn was born August 15, 2015. His sponsors are DeVante Krueger and Elizabeth Seehase. May God bless and guide Quinntyn as he begins his walk in faith with Jesus Christ.  

PN-MAG (Pizza Night – Men of Grace) The Men of Grace will meet for Bible study and pizza on Thursday, May 30th at church. You are welcome to join us at 6:30 pm. A sign up sheet is in the narthex on the bulletin board.
