Our prayer quilt is for Judy Anderson. The quilt is in the narthex for anyone who would like to say a prayer for Judy as you tie the knot on her quilt. After all the knots are tied we will give the quilt to Judy.
Gathering of Men will meet every Monday except holidays at Grace Lutheran from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
September 4th will kick-off the fall schedule at Grace. We will start with a supper—Maid-rite sandwiches will be furnished—please bring a covered dish to share—this will be from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Also during that time confirmation registration will be held. At 6:30 pm a worship service will be held with small group students and adults. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
Luther League is currently looking for names/addresses of people throughout the community that need help with yardwork. Sunday School Rally Day Set for Sunday, Sept. 8 Children 3 years old through 6th grade are encouraged to attend Sunday School rally day on Sunday, Sept. 8, at 10:15 am to 11 am in the Grace fellowship hall. The program for this year is entitled, “Journeying through the Bible,” and each week will include music, activities, Bible stories, and snacks. Parents are asked to register their children so we know how many to plan for (registration forms are available on the Grace in Tripoli Facebook page or in the church office). Parents are welcome to attend Sunday School with their children if they wish, though are not required.
The Tripoli Elementary School is looking for volunteers to help with the students for reading and playing games. Any day works great and if you can give 30-60 minutes of your day for the students, they would love to have you come and help.
Did You Know You Can Listen to Grace Sermons On Line? Many of Pastor Dennis’ sermons, along with many of Pastor Scott’s sermons from earlier this year, are available to you to listen to on our church website. Just go to https://gracetripoli.org/category/sermons/ and click on the sermon according to the date you wish you listen to. Some of our members who are camping on weekends or who have gone South during the winter months find this especially meaningful.
