Yellow Communion Cards Removed Because of changes to the Constitution approved a couple years ago, the Grace Church Council determined that Grace Lutheran will no longer be keeping communion records. For this reason, the yellow communion cards have been removed from the pews, and those communing do not need to fill out anything to give to the ushers. Thank you for your cooperation in making this change.

One Year To Live Men’s RetreatWhat is the “ONE YEAR TO LIVE” Men’s Retreat you ask? It is a retreat experience hosted by “Lutheran Men in Mission, Northeastern Iowa Synod of the ELCA and EWALU Bible Camp. It is led by laymen that have attended the retreat as a participant in the past. Would you believe that in 45 hours you will develop new friendships that will be there long after the retreat is over? Friends that you can call in the middle of the night and they will be there for you? I have many new “brothers” from being a participant and being on staff at subsequent retreats. The retreat at EWALU on November 2 thru 4 will be my thirteenth retreat. It all started with me attending my first retreat in November of 2012. I guess that retreat had an effect on the rest of my life and IT HAS BEEN GOOD. There are brochures in the church entry or for more info check Lutheran Men In Mission. Call or text me at 319-231-5749. REGISTER NOW. Jim Rathe
